Hi, I am DJ Jordan.

I've always been a fan of photography, but didn't follow through on my interest until later in life. While photography gradually became a larger hobby after the birth of my daughter, there was a defining moment that I decided to take it more seriously. I had an entry level enthusiast camera that I accidentally dropped and broke. It dawned on me that if I was going to purchase a new camera, let's purchase a "nice" one and take the hobby a bit more seriously.

Eventually, 100 Proof Photography was established. The name captures my enjoyment of a good Whiskey (especially bourbon) and my interest in photography. I enjoy capturing moments in time from the special events in people's lives. Candid moments are my favorite to capture and share. While I still have my day job, this will continue to be a passion I nurture and enjoy. Hopefully, you too will enjoy it!
